Solihull's MP, Lorely Burt today joined childminders and toddlers at the Layca Centre in Shirley to celebrate National Childminding Week with the Solihull Childminding Group.
Extra activities were arranged for the regular Monday morning session including music and movement for babies and toddlers by Helen Bodfish from Molly Music.
Up to 64 children with childminders attend at the Layca Centre each week, and the sessions are open to any registered childminder.
"Solihull Childminding Group provides a fantastic opportunity for childminders and toddlers to get together in a safe and stimulating environment. Childminders provide a vital service for busy families in Shirley and Solihull, and deserve high praise for their dedication and care," said Lorely.
